The Process

We’ll meet and talk about what you are looking for. If you want to go ahead, I’ll send you a questionnaire about your brand and what you want from your new site.

I will send a detailed proposal, if you want to go ahead, I’ll ask for 50% of the investment price as a deposit.

Your copy and branding will need to be ready before I can start on your site. I can re-use existing copy and give you an idea of any missing copy I will need. I know some great copywriters if you need a referral for that! If you don’t have a brand, I can offer my starter branding service and get you going.

I’ll get started on your site and work for two weeks before scheduling our first progress call. I’m often more in touch during this time as this is when most questions arise as I get into the project. You’ll have access to my Trello to see the progress of your project. We will have a short check-in on a call or email every two weeks throughout the project. This is when we will go through page and site design revisions.

If changes you ask for go beyond revision and will incur extra cost, I’ll let you know when you make the ask. You can check out the Add Ons section of my packages for an idea of what that looks like.

I will send your final website and my second invoice the week of our handover, to be paid before our final call.

We will schedule a final call to go through your website and I will pass along a handover document and any tutorial videos that I think you might need for maintaining or updating your site. I will also be around for three or four weeks (depending on your package) of aftercare to answer questions and check things on your site.
